Quantity Surveyor

Role:

Create and update the Bills of Material Quantity of work order on basis of Approved Construction drawing in the form of quantity records booklet, as well as site works accounting documents, ensure correctness and accuracy of data and compliance with company procedures and project requirements.

• Verify a quantity record booklet submitted by Subcontractors.
• Create quantity record booklet or equivalent for the customer, according to active invoicing procedures, certifying quantities and practices.
• Update quantity records booklets and successive accounting documents relating to works, according to data received monthly from all work site assistants.
• Supply quantitative data for the preparation of Extra Works and economy works, receiving from Site Foreman, Assistants and Team leaders' approval of said forecast and balance data.
• Collect official price revision indexes, as specified by local bulletins recognized by the contract.
• Check all work accounting documents, supervise final accounting and to obtain the signature of those responsible.
• Assist in the technical-administrative setting of claims presented by sub-contractors.

Qualifications:

• Excellent attention to detail;
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills;
• Ideally, 3-5 years of experience in a dynamic working environment;
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Must be authorized to legally work in Canada
